Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson will reportedly put contract talks on hold amid interest from Premier League duo Leeds United and West Ham United.
The 20-year-old versatile forward has been a standout performer for the Championship outfit this season, scoring 11 goals and registering five assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.
Johnson's impressive form has caught the eye of several clubs in England's top tier, with both Leeds and West Ham set to rival the likes of Brentford and Crystal Palace for his signature this summer.
The Wales international is under contract at the City Ground until June 2023, and Forest are keen to tie the forward down to a new long-term deal.
However, Football Insider reports that Johnson is in no rush to commit his future to Forest and will consider his options ahead of next summer's transfer window.
Brentford are understood to have had a club-record offer, believed to be in excess of £18m, rejected by Forest in January. body check tags ::
