Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly both interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk centre-back Mykola Matviyenko this summer.
The 24-year-old helped Shakhtar to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League last season, in addition to winning their domestic title for the fourth year in a row.
The Ukrainian champions have reportedly put a £20m price tag on the head of Matviyenko, and The Express reports that Leeds and Wolves are interested.
Newly-promoted Leeds are in the market for a new central defender after failing in their attempts to bring Ben White back to the club on a permanent basis.
However, Marcelo Bielsa's side are expected to face competition for his signature from Premier League rivals, with West Ham United and Everton also joining Wolves in the race.
The Ukraine international, who can also play at left-back, made 39 appearances in all competitions last season.
