Poland international Mateusz Klich has been undergoing a medical at Leeds United ahead of a permanent switch from FC Twente, according to reports.
The 27-year-old scored six goals in 29 appearances for Twente last season, having signed from Kaiserslautern just last summer, as the team finished seventh in the Eredivisie table.
According to Sky Sports News, Klich was a name recommended to the Leeds hierarchy by former boss Garry Monk before the midfielder's move to the Netherlands.
Klich, believed to be valued at £1.5m, has been capped 10 times by Poland and has two years left on his current Twente deal.
He began his career at Cracovia in Poland before a move to Wolfsburg in 2011, and was then sent out on loan to PEC Zwolle on two occasions before joining Kaiserslautern in 2015.
