Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has insisted that Jack Grealish will not be departing the club on loan this transfer window.
The 20-year-old was disciplined in November for going out clubbing after Villa lost 4-0 at Everton but has recently found his way back into Garde's starting XI.
Reports have linked him with a loan switch down to the Championship, however, with Leeds United, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers all interested.
"He started the last Premier League game versus Sunderland, so he is staying here," Garde told The Sun.
"I wouldn't start a player a week ago and then say 'go on loan'. I'm relying on Jack, but like other players he could do better."
The Villans are currently on the worst league run in their 141-year history and are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, 11 points from safety.
