Sam Byram has reportedly rejected a new contract offer from Leeds United.
The 22-year-old will become a free agent in the summer and according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Byram has turned down a deal that would have extended his stay with the club until 2017.
The full-back rejected an offer in the summer less than his £12,000-a-week wages that would be spread over a longer stay, but it is believed that the new offer was for the same amount of money that he is currently earning.
It is understood that Leeds will not be making another offer and they are preparing for bids from Premier League clubs in January.
Byram has made 134 career appearances for the club but has been out of the side this season because of the contract dispute.
