Leeds United have reportedly failed in their efforts to sign Southampton forward Che Adams.
With Eddie Nketiah having returned to parent club Arsenal, Leeds are eager to bring in a replacement in the final third of the pitch.
Adams has been heavily linked with a switch to Elland Road, despite only penning a long-term deal with Southampton during the summer.
However, The Mirror claims that Ralph Hasenhuttl has no intention of allowing the 23-year-old to leave St Mary's at the midway point of the campaign.
While Adams has failed to score in 16 Premier League appearances, the attacker did set up Southampton's winning goal against Leicester City at the weekend.
The former Birmingham City man has also featured regularly in recent weeks, helping the south coast side to move into 12th position in the top-flight standings.
