Blackburn Rovers defender Darragh Lenihan has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for a number of clubs in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has spent the majority of his professional career at Ewood Park, making a total of 238 appearances in all competitions.
Lenihan is currently part of a Rovers team which is challenging for promotion to the Premier League, and the Irishman's form has not gone unnoticed by teams in the top flight.
According to TEAMtalk, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Newcastle United are all contemplating bids for the centre-back during the summer.
Lenihan is due to become a free agent at the end of the season, the report suggesting that he will only consider penning a fresh contract if Rovers secure a return to the Premier League.
Other top-tier clubs will likely enter the equation should Blackburn fail to end a decade-long wait for another stint among English football's elite. body check tags ::
