Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O'Brien has allegedly emerged as a transfer target for West Ham United.

The 23-year-old has starred for the Terriers this season, making a total of 30 starts as the Yorkshire outfit challenging for promotion to the Premier League.

However, O'Brien's form has inevitably led to interest from elsewhere with Leeds United known to be admirers of the player.

According to TEAMtalk, West Ham are also assessing the situation as they consider replacements for Mark Noble, who is leaving the club at the end of the season.

The report claims that O'Brien possesses a £12m release clause in his contract, an option which was included when he extended his deal at the John Smith's Stadium until 2025.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace are also said to have included the player on their shortlist ahead of the summer window.
