West Ham United have reportedly won the race to sign Leeds United full-back Sam Byram from under the noses of Everton.
It is believed that the 22-year-old held discussions with the Merseysiders over the weekend after Leeds had accepted a bid in the region of £4m for his services.
However, according to London24, the Hammers entered the running on Sunday and have been able to convince Byram that a move to East London would be best for his career.
The report adds that the youngster could be confirmed as a West Ham player by as early as tomorrow morning.
