Leeds United defender Aidy White has joined Sheffield United on loan until January 1.
The 22-year-old, who has made more than 100 appearances for the Championship outfit, has become Nigel Clough's first signing as Blades boss.
"We have a heavy programme ahead, especially with the FA Cup, and someone like Aidy will give us another option and that bit of extra quality," Clough told the club's official website.
White is highly regarded at his parent club, but has managed just three senior appearances this season.
