Wolverhampton Wanderers are allegedly regarded as the favourites to sign Reading forward Danny Loader.
On the final day of the summer transfer window, Loader was ready to join Wolves, only for Reading to pull the plug on a deal just before the deadline.
However, with just over a month left on his contract and having barely featured all season, the 19-year-old is expected to depart the Madejski Stadium on a free transfer.
According to the Daily Mail, Wolves are likely to take advantage of being presented with a second chance to sign the young Englishman.
Although Loader has spent much of the season on the substitutes' bench or out of the squad, Nuno Espirito Santo sees potential in the player.
Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Swansea City are also said to be keen on the Royals academy graduate.
