Former Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino will reportedly hold talks with Leganes about their vacant managerial post.
The Argentine coach is the La Liga club's first choice to replace Asier Garitano at the helm, according to AS.
The Spanish side are said to have earmarked Numancia coach Jagoba Arrasate as a potential alternative, should they fail to agree terms with Pellegrino.
Pellegrino has been out of work since Southampton sacked him in March, paving the way for Mark Hughes to take over at St Mary's Stadium.
Leganes narrowly avoided relegation from the Spanish top flight last term, finishing in 17th place in the final standings.
