Under-fire Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has admitted that his side are making life difficult for themselves following another defeat this afternoon.
The Foxes have lost five of their last six games in all competitions, with a 2-1 loss at local rivals Aston Villa spelling the end of their FA Cup hopes for this season.
A large section of the 6,000 travelling supporters were clearly left unhappy by what they saw at Villa Park, and Pearson says that he understands their frustrations.
"People are entitled to their opinions, it doesn't matter what I think," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We know we have a lot to do this season but what we have to do is find a way of being consistent.
"I never thought it would be easy but we're not making life easy for ourselves. It's been suggested that it is easier to prepare against the bigger sides but I do not know. We have found ourselves in losing positions far too often."
Leicester return to Premier League action next weekend, looking to climb away from the foot of the table when they take on Everton at Goodison Park.
