Leicester City have taken control of their match against Huddersfield Town with two first-half goals at the King Power Stadium.
The home side were on the attack from the start as Anthony Knockaert fired a shot wide inside the opening two minutes, before Lloyd Dyer saw his effort blocked.
James Vaughan came close to breaking the deadlock against the run of play, but Kasper Schmeichel was sharp in the Leicester goal to keep his left-footed strike out.
The Foxes continued to dominate and grabbed the lead through Jamie Vardy in the 11th minute when the striker smashed the ball in from out wide.
The hosts doubled their lead shortly before half time when Anthony Gerrard managed to turn the ball into his own net from a David Nugent corner.
