Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Jamie Vardy should be fit in time for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
The Foxes were without their top scorer for this afternoon's trip to North London as they played out a controversial 2-2 draw with Spurs in the third round of the FA Cup.
However, Vardy could return for the midweek match following minor groin surgery, with Ranieri revealing that the striker will return to training on Monday.
"Today he was I think 50/50. He made some training with the physio, tomorrow he starts with us in the warm-up and Tuesday we will do the last training session and if he is okay, he will play," Ranieri told reporters.
"It will be another kind of match with the normal players from me and Mauricio. Every match is different but more or less they will play the same way but with other players and we play more or less the same way with other players."
Vardy has scored 15 league goals for Leicester this season, helping the club to second in the Premier League table.
