Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that striker Islam Slimani will play no part in Tuesday night's Champions League clash against Club Brugge due to a groin injury.
The 28-year-old, who has scored one goal during the European campaign, has failed to recover from the problem, which also put him out of Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Watford.
The Foxes will also be without left-back Ben Chilwell and midfielder Nampalys Mendy for the match, which will propel the club into the last 16 of the tournament if they win at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester are unbeaten in the group stage after winning three and drawing one, which is in stark contrast to their form in the Premier League having won just three of their 11 fixtures.
