Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater has insisted that striker Jamie Vardy proved the difference in the club's 2-1 away victory over Norwich City.
Vardy produced a telling display on Saturday afternoon as he opened his side's scoring with a penalty, before Jeffrey Schlupp went on to help seal all three points for the Foxes.
"He's a key player for us. He can come out of nowhere, he was the difference," Drinkwater is quoted by Goal.com as saying.
"We stuck at it, managed to roll sleeves up and grind it out. It's a good feeling after such a second half.
"It was massive, the gaffer said we needed to bounce back and show a bit of character and we showed what we're about. It's a good team to be in."
City currently hold fourth spot in the Premier League table after eight games played.
