The Football Association has charged Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson with improper conduct.
Pearson is alleged to have used inappropriate "language and/or behaviour" following his side's 2-1 defeat at Charlton Athletic in the Championship on Saturday.
The 50-year-old has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
Leicester return to action on September 14 when they host Wigan Athletic in the Championship.
