Liam Moore has recovered from a broken rib and should be available for Leicester City's East Midlands derby against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old centre-back was initially expected to miss the game, but has been training and making good progress.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester, Foxes manager Nigel Pearson told the club's official website: "He should be available.
"He has trained over the last week and we are pretty happy with how he has been progressing, so that's good news."
Moore, who has formed a solid partnership with Wes Morgan for the league leaders this season, has made 24 Championship appearances this term.
