David Nugent has said that Leicester City's pre-season friendly against Monaco this weekend will be a "great occasion" for the club.
The Championship side will host the Ligue 1 outfit at the King Power Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
The Foxes' topscorer from last season told the club's official website: "If we get promoted, we'll be playing against teams like this week in, week out so we've got to get used to it.
"It's like when we played Real Madrid a few years ago, it was a great occasion for the club and it will be again against AS Monaco.
"They've signed a few decent players this summer and we're looking forward to the game and hopefully we'll put a good performance in for the fans."
Leicester have secured wins over Leamington and Port Vale and draws with York City and Ilkeston since returning from their summer break.
