Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has insisted his side were focused on their own game rather than results elsewhere that helped the Foxes to the top of Championship.
Two goals from Jamie Vardy and one from Lloyd Dyer ensured the East Midlands club registered a comprehensive win against Millwall and Pearson believes his side were able to control the match.
He told reporters: "The most important thing was to get our own result right. Other results are a bonus. We killed the game when we needed to.
"Seven games [in December] will take a concerted effort but the key factor is that the players are playing well."
Leicester travel to Hillsborough on Tuesday to take on Sheffield Wednesday.
