Leicester City boss Claude Puel has suggested that he does not mind any high-profile clubs showing an interest in Harry Maguire.
The summer signing has been linked with both Manchester City and Manchester United since the start of 2018 after impressing in his 32 starts for the East Midlands outfit.
However, Maguire has said that he is eyeing a long stay at the King Power Stadium, and Puel has admitted that he was pleased to hear the centre-back commit his future to the club.
At a press conference, the 56-year-old told reporters: "It is a good example with Harry, with other players in our team. They can have interest from other clubs but it is interesting to listen to Harry.
"He believes in our work, his work with Leicester and I hope we can continue to develop the club and to be higher up in the table. It is a long process but also an exciting process.
"I hope we can give him and other players more possibility to play higher up in the table. It is important they always have a good ambition for the club and themselves."
Maguire still has more than four years remaining on his contract.
