Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has urged his teammates to remain focused as they look to clinch the Premier League title this season.
Mahrez scored his 15th goal of the season to send the Foxes five points clear at the top of the table this evening, beating Watford 1-0 at Vicarage Road after their two closest rivals, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, had drawn in the North London derby.
The Algerian acknowledged that it was a "very important" win for his side, but warned that a five-point gap is by no means insurmountable with nine games left of the season.
"It was very important to take points here with the draw between Arsenal and Tottenham. It was a good opportunity to go away from those two clubs. I'm very happy to score and help the team to win," he told Sky Sports News.
"Every player in this team has to bring something. We are a team, solid, together and I think this is the type of game we have to win sometimes.
"I don't know if the excitement is getting bigger, after the game we were like normal. We are happy to be in this place. Not even we expected to be in this place. If we carry on maybe we can do something big. There are still nine games so we have to be focused. Five points is not that big, we have to keep going."
Leicester's next match sees them host relegation-threatened Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium a week on Monday.
