Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross has declared that he would like to see table-topping Leicester City win the Premier League.
The centre-back said that he wants the Foxes to be crowned champions for his close friend and former teammate Robert Huth, and is eyeing a victory over second-placed Tottenham Hotspur next Monday to help their cause.
"It's one of the biggest sporting upsets ever," Shawcross told Sky Sports News. "For a team to go from the bottom of the table a year ago to maybe winning the title is a fantastic achievement and it'll never happen again.
"I'm pleased to see [Huth] doing so well and he's been a catalyst for the success they've had and how well they're doing. His performances have been fantastic so I hope they do go on and win it.
"Hopefully we can get the win that helps Leicester win the title but it's going to be a difficult game. Our form against Spurs at home has been good over the year - they're a good team but we've got lots of good players."
Stoke, who host Spurs at the Britannia Stadium, have not lost against any of the Premier League's top five sides at home this season.
