Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that three players have shown signs of having coronavirus.
Earlier on Thursday, it was claimed that a trio of players from an unnamed Premier League club had shown symptoms of the disease, which has led to other European leagues suspending fixtures.
While not confirming that the Foxes are the team in question, Rodgers revealed to a press conference that three players were now being kept away from the rest of the squad.
Speaking to reporters, the Northern Irishman said: "We've had a few players that have shown symptoms and signs. We've followed procedures and they have been kept away from the squad."
As it stands, Leicester are currently due to travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford this weekend, a game which is scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon.
However, the development and worsening outbreak of coronavirus means that the fixture is likely to be postponed.
