Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa is adamant that his side need to regain their intensity from early in the season to halt their slump in form in the Premier League.

Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa has insisted that his side need to regain their focus to stop their slump in form in the Premier League.

The Foxes have failed to win in seven matches in the top flight since their victory over Manchester United in September, while Nigel Pearson's men also haven't found the net in their last five games.

The 28-year-old is adamant that his side need to regain their intensity from the early weeks of the campaign to get their season back on track.

Ulloa told reporters: "It is difficult because after 10 years of not being in the Premier League then the win against Manchester, it is normal for the people, staff, players and team to be happy.

"But we need to focus again for the same situation – the work, mentality, intensity and all together – the team, fans, staff and the club. United is in the past and now we need to think of the team and the next game at QPR. It is important to remember when we started the season we played well and pressed with intensity.

"We played different in some games since. Now we need to focus on the next game, recuperate this intensity and mentality. This game was a step and the next game we can have more confidence."

Leicester are 18th in the Premier League with 10 points from their 12 matches.
