Sports Mole previews the Premier League clash between Leicester and West Brom at the King Power Stadium as both sides look to put winless Octobers behind them.

Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion will both be hoping to put winless Octobers behind them when they clash in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Foxes have collected only one point since their famous 5-3 triumph over Manchester United and have slipped down to 17th in the table.

They will be glad to be back on home soil this weekend after their drought without an away goal was stretched to 206 minutes during the 2-0 defeat at Swansea City.

Nigel Pearson's side have yet to lose at the King Power Stadium this season and have as many goals on their own patch as any side other than the Premier League's top two.

It has been a similar story for the Baggies - happy homers but toothless travellers - and their latest away disappointment came in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday as they were dumped out by Championship Bournemouth.

Alan Irvine defended his decision to rest in-form forward Saido Berahino and instead insisted that the fault for their fourth-round exit lay with those fringe players who failed to take their opportunity to shine.

The Albion manager made 10 changes to his side in midweek, with defender Craig Dawson the only survivor, and is expected to restore almost all of his regulars for their short trip across the Midlands.

Ben Foster, Joleon Lescott, Chris Brunt, Andre Wisdom, Sebastien Pocognoli, James Morrison, Craig Gardner and Graham Dorrans could all return, with Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon battling to play alongside Berahino.

West Brom are still missing Claudio Yacob, Jonas Olsson and Silvestre Varela, but Leicester's only injury concerns are Matthew Upson and goalkeeper Ben Hamer, who have played just once between them this term.

Pearson may tinker with his team in a bid to rediscover a winning formula. Andy King, who signed a new four-year contract with City this week, could be handed a first start in six weeks alongside Esteban Cambiasso in midfield as Dean Hammond and Danny Drinkwater drop out.

Jeffrey Schlupp is also in contention for the Foxes and be will likely be called upon if Pearson opts to revert to a 4-4-2 formation, with Jamie Vardy partnering Leonardo Ulloa and David Nugent demoted to the bench.

Albion, who are one point and four places above City, have won their last three matches at Leicester in all competitions.
