An own goal from Esteban Cambiasso handed West Bromwich Albion a 1-0 win over Leicester City in their Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium this afternoon.

Despite the Foxes being the better side overall in the first half, Wes Morgan's clearance in the 47th minute bounced off Cambiasso and past Kasper Schmeichel to gift the Baggies the lead.

Leicester pressed forward in a bid to find an equaliser, but West Brom held on for all three points to climb to 10th in the table, while Nigel Pearson's side remain one place above the relegation zone.

Kasper Schmeichel: Comfortable when tested in the first half. Not at fault for his side's own goal. (7/10)

Marcin Wasilewski: Struggled against Berahino and lucky not to be punished for a clear elbow on the striker. (5/10)

Wes Morgan: Failed to take his chance with a header following a Foxes corner. A poor showing for kicking his clearance into Cambiasso for what was a farcical own goal. (5/10)

Paul Konchesky: Uncharacteristically nervous against West Brom's front line. (5/10)

Ritchie de Laet: Made some good runs forward into the Baggies half, but his crossing was off the mark. (6/10)

Midfield

Danny Drinkwater: Energetic pushing forward when trying to help his side find an equaliser. (6/10)

Esteban Cambiasso: Unlucky to have Morgan's clearance cannon off him for his side's own goal, but was not on the ball as often as he would have liked. Made a vital goalline clearance in the first half. (6/10)

Andy King: Guilty of missing a gilt-edged chance with 13 minutes to go when unmarked in the West Brom box. (5/10)

Matthew James: Decent when it came to set pieces, with his dead ball prowess creating several good chances for his attackers. (6/10)

Jamie Vardy: Went down too easily at times and missed several good opportunities. (5/10)

Ben Foster: Lucky not to be penalised after appearing to handle outside the box early on, but grew into the game and pulled off several saves to stop Leicester from getting onto the scoresheet. (6/10)

Craig Dawson: Guilty of several mishaps including appearing to handle in the box. (5/10)

Sebastien Pocognoli: Stood up well to Leicester's drives forward in the second half. (7/10)

Andre Wisdom: Tight at the back, rarely put a foot wrong. (7/10)

Joleon Lescott: Strong at the back, though his tackle in the box on Vardy was risky and could have been given as a penalty. (6/10)

Midfield

Chris Brunt: Wasted the best chance of the first half when his shot from outside of the area went over, but was good otherwise, linking up well with Berahino. (6/10)

Graham Dorrans: Grew into the game, though he lost possession too easily at times. (6/10)

James Morrison: A solid display. Instrumental in what could prove to be a valuable away win for the Baggies. (7/10)

Stephane Sessegnon: His pace and passing wreaked havoc on the Leicester defence. (7/10)

Saido Berahino: Despite not getting on the scoresheet, he troubled the defence with clever passing and good efforts, while also contributing to his side's goal when his cutback was dealt with so poorly by the Leicester back line. (7/10)

Claudio Yacob: Brought on for Sessegnon with 10 minutes to go and helped Albion see the game out. (6/10)

Victor Anichebe The attacker did more good work in his own box than Leicester's in his five-minute cameo, making a couple of good clearances. (6/10)
