Nigel Pearson: 'Draw with Hull City is not good enough'

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson admits that taking only a point from their Premier League clash against Hull City is not good enough for his side's push for survival.

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has conceded that his side's point against Hull City is not good enough to aid their push for survival in the Premier League.

The Foxes were held to goalless draw by the Tigers as they were unable to force a breakthrough at the King Power Stadium, despite the visitors playing the last 18 minutes of the match with 10 men.

Pearson believes that his side now need to win five of their remaining 10 matches in order to beat the drop this season.

He told the club's official website: "The result's not good enough for us. I wanted our attacking players to be more committed to the win, but we were a bit safe.

"We've got 10 games left, six at home and we probably need to win five. Today's game shows how tough it can be. A draw is probably a fair result on the balance, but we're disappointed with how we played today, which I haven't said often."

Leicester are currently bottom of the Premier League table, seven points adrift of safety.
