Leicester City piled more misery upon Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday evening by securing a 2-1 victory over the Black Country side at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes took the lead on 24 minutes courtesy of Antony Knockaert and, although Bakary Sako pulled one back for Dean Saunders's men early in the second half, David Nugent sealed victory 17 minutes from time by netting his 14th goal of the season.
Wolves are now without a win in the last eight games, while Leicester are unbeaten in eight matches.
Leicester, who remain second in the Championship table, have opened up a three-point gap over third-placed Hull City.
Wolves sit 19th, just five points above the relegation zone.
