A Ross Wallace goal in the sixth minute of injury time has given Burnley a 2-2 draw away at Leicester City in this afternoon's Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium.

The first effort of the game came in the 10th minute as Jeff Schlupp picked up a loose ball and fired from distance, but Clarets goalkeeper Tom Heaton was able to save with relative ease, the shot lacking sufficient power.

Moments later, it was Burnley's turn to threaten, as George Boyd marauded towards the Foxes area, but despite Ben Mee out on the flank, the former Hull City man decided to have a shot instead, which flew over and wide.

Just after the half-hour mark, the breakthrough eventually came, courtesy of Schlupp latching onto Riyad Mahrez's low cross and poking the ball past Heaton to put the home side a goal up.

It took only six minutes for the visitors to equalise, as Michael Kightly beat Paul Konchesky to bear down towards goal and poke home from six yards.

Leicester bounced back in terrific fashion, with less than a minute elapsing from the restart to get back into the lead.

Jamie Vardy, receiving a ball from Schlupp, subsequently found Mahrez in the area with a deflected cross, and the Algerian had little more to do than connect from close range to send the ball past Heaton and into the net.

The start of the second half saw both sides probe forward with little end product, but just before the hour, Lukas Jutkiewicz was unlucky to find the net following Mee's accurate cross.

The former Bolton man, who has yet to score in the Premier League this season, continued to threaten the Foxes box after being allowed too much space to turn on the edge of the box by Liam Moore.

Nevertheless, the 25-year-old's subsequent strike flew just wide of the target.

Just as it seemed like the home side would record yet another win, Wallace spectacularly curled a free kick from the edge of the Leicester box into the top corner past a beleaguered Kasper Schmeichel to gift the Clarets a point right at the death.
