Leicester City saw off the challenge of Reading and moved to the top of the Championship this afternoon thanks to David Nugent's first-half penalty.
The opening exchanges provided little by way of incident, with the failure of the stadium's floodlight system being the game's only talking point early on.
Leicester, however, won a penalty after Shaun Cummings was adjudged to have fouled Anthony Knockaert.
David Nugent subsequently stepped up to slot home past Alex McCarthy.
Nugent continued to threaten and clipped the post after Wes Morgan kept Knockaert's free kick alive.
Reading mounted some pressure of their own after the break, with Royston Drenthe forcing a good save from Kasper Schmeichel.
Richie de Laet then had to head the ball off the line for Leicester before Reading's Kasper Gorkss nodded over from a corner.
Chris Gunter and Jamie Vardy missed for Leicester late on but the Foxes went on to see out the game and secure victory.
