Leicester City have reportedly agreed a compensation fee with Coventry City for the signature of George Thomas.
The 20-year-old, who is Leicester born, has come to the end of his contract at the Ricoh Arena but the two clubs have been struggling for weeks to reach an agreement.
According to Sky Sports News, a deal of just under £500,000 has been struck, and performance-related add-ons have been included.
Thomas is also believed to have attracted interest from Swansea City, but his preference has reportedly always been to play for his local club.
After coming through Coventry's academy in 2013, Thomas has made 53 appearances and scored nine goals.
