Leicester City have reportedly started to consider offering a contract extension to veteran midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, only months after he signed for the club.
According to The People, the Foxes are willing to give the Argentine international a new deal before his current agreement ends, such is the impact that the former Inter Milan captain has made since joining the newly-promoted side in August.
Cambiasso is said to have embraced his role as a senior player and has been involved in discussions with Leicester manager Nigel Pearson regarding team tactics and the mentoring of younger players.
The 34-year-old is also thought to be eyeing a career as a coach in English football in the longer term.
Cambiasso's own goal saw City lose 1-0 away to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
