Burnley defender James Tarkowski has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Leicester City and Crystal Palace.
Although the England international is regarded as one of Burnley's most important players, the centre-back now has just two years left on his contract.
As well as the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, Burnley are in a weaker position regarding the 27-year-old's future than they were 12 months ago.
According to The Mirror, that may lead to Leicester and Palace launching an approach for Tarkowski at the end of the season.
The Foxes have previously held an interest in the player, only to be put off by Burnley's £50m valuation.
While Burnley may respond with the offer of a new contract, Tarkowski is expected to consider his options at this stage of his career.
