Bristol City midfielder Han-Noah Massengo has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Leicester City and Southampton.

The former Monaco youngster, who will turn 21 years of age in July, has made a total of 77 appearances for the Robins in the Championship.

Manager Nigel Pearson has previously acknowledged that the club are attempting to extend Massengo's contract past the end of 2023.

However, according to Football Insider, the Frenchman has admirers in Premier League duo Leicester and Southampton.

The Foxes and Saints will feel that they can take advantage of the player's contract situation, aware that Bristol City will not risk losing one of their most prized assets on a free transfer.

Talks at Ashton Gate are likely to remain ongoing before a final decision is made ahead of the summer window. body check tags ::
