Leicester City have reportedly made a £10m bid for Sampdoria striker Eder.
The Premier League leaders are believed to be in the market for a new attacker this month to boost their squad for the final months of the season.
According to Sky Sports News, Claudio Ranieri identified Eder as the player to improve his frontline and the Foxes have launched a bid of £10m, in addition to offering the 29-year-old a three-year contract.
Eder, who is an eight-time Italian international, has scored 45 goals in 131 league games for Sampdoria since joining from Empoli in 2012.
Leicester are currently three points clear at the top of the Premier League table and 10 points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United in the race for a top-four finish.
