Southampton and Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Toulouse winger Zakaria Aboukhlal.
The 22-year-old registered 12 goals and two assists in 90 appearances for AZ Alkmaar before securing a move to Toulouse in the summer.
In his 12 appearances for the Ligue 1 club this season, Aboukhlal has scored three goals and provided three assists, and his performances have caught the attention of two Premier League clubs.
According to Football Insider, Southampton and Leicester are monitoring the progress of Aboukhlal, who is set to represent Morocco at the World Cup.
With Theo Walcott's contract set to expire next summer, Southampton have identified Aboukhlal as a potential replacement, while the Foxes are looking to strengthen in the final third with less than two years remaining on Jamie Vardy's and Kelechi Iheanacho's respective deals.
The two Premier League sides will continue to keep tabs on the player, who is under contract with Toulouse until June 2026.
