Leicester City have released former England striker Darius Vassell from his contract.
The 31-year-old was signed in 2010 by Sven-Goran Eriksson, but has been out of the Foxes team since suffering a knee injury in November.
The club have also released Steve Howard, Matt Oakley, Chris Weale, Aleksandar Tunchev and Elliot Chamberlain.
A club statement read: "The club would like to place on record its thanks to all six players for their hard work and professionalism in City blue, and wish them well in the future."
Vassell scored six goals in 44 appearances for the club.
