Ligue 2 outfit Lens have progressed to the last 16 of the Coupe de France thanks to a dramatic extra-time victory over Bastia this evening.
After a scoreless first half, Wahbi Khazri put Bastia in front on the hour mark at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
It looked as if the Ligue 1 visitors would be winning the game until the 86th minute when Pablo Chavarria bundled home to send the tie into extra time.
It took four minutes for Lens to score what would be the winning goal as Deme Ndiaye found the net.
Jiammy Bruno had the chance to level the match but his penalty was saved by Rudy Riou.
Ties in the next round will be played on Tuesday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 12.
