Levante and Getafe have played out a goalless draw in this evening's La Liga match at the Ciutat de Valencia stadium.
The match began slowly, with the first concrete chance not coming until the 14th minute, David Barra's effort flying wide of the target for the home side.
Getafe pushed forward through Pedro Leon, but his three attempts on goal, coming midway through the first half, were all comfortably saved.
Meanwhile Victor Casadesus's strike for Levante, coming with just six minutes to go in the first half, was off target.
The second half saw the home side dominate Getafe, with efforts coming from Ruben Garcia, Baba and Nabil El Zhar, but they were unable to break the deadlock.
Even with Alexis's red card for the away side, following two bookings, Levante were unable to breach Getafe's clean sheet, and so the game finished 0-0.
The result means that Levante stay 10th, while Getafe remain in the relegation zone on goal difference.
