Real Madrid have won their fourth consecutive La Liga match thanks to an eventful 2-1 triumph at Levante.
The match was played on a waterlogged pitch at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia due to earlier rain, but Los Blancos managed to take home the three points in the difficult conditions thanks to a late goal from substitute Alvaro Morata.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who had earlier received medical treatment for a serious-looking gash to his eye, gave the visitors the lead on 20 minutes when he showed great control before volleying in Xabi Alonso's free kick.
Levante got themselves on level terms with 62 minutes on the clock as Angel Rodriguez held off Pepe before firing past Iker Casillas.
Madrid had the chance to regain the lead from the penalty spot 10 minutes later after David Navarro had brought down Jose Callejon, but Alonso saw his kick saved by Gustavo Munua.
The game looked to be heading for a draw, only for Morata to come off the bench and head in from a corner with his first touch on 84 minutes to give the visitors the three points.
