Levante striker Obafemi Martins has admitted that he wants to join MLS outfit Seattle Sounders next month.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Spanish outfit from Rubin Kazan at the beginning of the season, has scored nine goals for the club this season.
It is understood that Levante want to keep the Nigerian, but according to various reports, Seattle are prepared to meet his release clause.
"It's a good deal for me, it is a good deal for everyone and it would be nice for my family to go to America," he told Cadena SER Valencia.
"I came to Levante for very little money and they will receive more than what it cost to sign me, so it would be a good deal for Levante."
The MLS transfer window is open until April.
