Divock Origi's second-half strike has given Lille all three points in their Ligue 1 clash against Valenciennes this afternoon.
Lille were the better side for much of the game but struggled to finish their chances, with Marko Basa and Saloman Kalou guilty of missing the target in the first half.
Origi replaced Nolan Roux after the break and scored 10 minutes later with a drive into the bottom left corner of the net following a fast break.
Mathieu Dossevi and Jean-Christophe Bahebeck came close to equalising for the visitors, but Lille held firm to see out the victory and claim the points.
