Lille staged a second-half comeback to beat Lyon 2-1 in Ligue 1 today.
Lyon broke the deadlock with their first attack after three minutes, as Nabil Fekir set up midfielder Corentin Tolisso, who converted his cross into the bottom corner.
Lille almost levelled immediately, but Simon Kjaer's goal-bound header from the middle of the box was blocked.
The home side continued to pile the pressure on Lyon, as Sam Mendes's shot flew inches wide and Kevin Koubemba had a close-range shot blocked.
Lille equalised after the break as Idrissa Gueye slotted home Marcos Lopes's low cross from the middle of the box, and then they took the lead as Lopes fired a fine long-range shot into the bottom corner just four minutes later.
Jonathan Delaplace should have wrapped the game up for the home side, as Divock Origi found him in the middle of the area, but his shot was comfortably saved by the keeper.
