Paris Saint-Germain begin their latest bid for Champions League glory with a trip to face Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
The Ligue 1 champions have dominated the domestic landscape in France by lifting 14 major trophies in the last five seasons, but success on the continent has so far eluded them.
Thomas Tuchel is the man tasked with guiding PSG to the latter stages of UEFA's showpiece competition, with Unai Emery failing to get past the last-16 stage during his two years at the helm.
Ahead of Tuchel's opening European test against Liverpool, Sports Mole looks at how the German may set out his side.
Out: Layvin Kurzawa, Dani Alves, Gianluigi Buffon, Marco Verratti
Tuchel rested Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at the weekend, but it mattered little as the Parisians maintained their perfect Ligue 1 start with a 4-0 home win over Saint-Etienne.
Julian Draxler and Angel di Maria profited from the rotation, though Mbappe and Neymar are certain to start at Anfield, with Edinson Cavani playing through the middle.
Verratti will not be part of PSG's squad due to a suspension that carries over from last season's loss to Real Madrid, however, and summer signing Buffon saw red against the same opposition, so Tuchel will have to think carefully about his formation.
One alternative is for Di Maria to join Mbappe and Neymar in a three-man attacking midfield, just off Cavani, if the visitors are willing to fight fire with fire, which would see Marquinhos fill in in defensive midfield - Tuchel's favoured position for the Brazilian.
In the absence of Buffon, meanwhile, highly-rated France international goalkeeper Alphonse Areola will continue his run in the side.
