Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that he has 'nothing to say' on rumours which linked Quincy Promes with a move to Anfield during the summer.
It was reported that the Merseyside giants were keen to sign the Spartak Moscow winger, who has netted 49 goals in 95 appearances for the Russian side since 2014.
However, ahead of the Champions League fixture between the two clubs, Klopp has chosen to avoid speaking about speculation, instead opting to highlight qualities which he sees in the player.
The 50-year-old told reporters: "He is a good player. A very good player. Nothing else to say.
"We have a lot of good players already. He is very good in one on one situations, but he isn't the only good player in the Spartak team."
Both Liverpool and Spartak drew their opening matches of the group stages.
