Liverpool and Roma have been charged by UEFA following violence that erupted in the build-up to their Champions League semi-final clash at Anfield in April.
The first leg, which ended in a 5-2 victory for the Reds, was marred by an incident outside the ground.
Simon Cox, 53, was seriously injured in an attack prior to kickoff, and Merseyside Police later arrested two men from Rome in connection with the incident.
Now, UEFA has released a statement confirming that both Liverpool and Roma have been charged with crowd violence "based on incidents that took place outside the stadium".
The Merseyside outfit were also charged with setting off fireworks and throwing objects.
