Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente has named his new dog 'Anfield' following his side's exploits against Liverpool in the Champions League.
Diego Simeone's side knocked out the current holders 4-2 on aggregate following a 3-2 victory at Anfield in the last 16, with Llorente netting two of Atletico's goals on the night.
The 25-year-old has now aimed a sly dig at Jurgen Klopp's side, posting a video of his pug on an Instagram story captioned: "Anfield viendo la vida pasar (Anfield watching life go by)."
Former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata added to Llorente's brace in added time to send Atletico through to the quarter finals, but all matches in Europe's elite competition are suspended indefinitely amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Llorente has registered three goals and one assist in 24 appearances for Simeone's side during the 2019-20 campaign.
