Gary Neville has talked up the "massive opportunity" for Liverpool as they travel to Basel in the Champions League this evening.
Victory for Brendan Rodgers's side would put them on six points in Group B following their 2-1 win over Ludogorets in their opening match last month.
Former Manchester United defender Neville thinks that the Reds can all but secure their qualification to the knockout stages with three points in Switzerland.
"There's a chance to see out the group this evening with a win," Neville told Sky Sports News.
"You'd argue that Real Madrid would beat Ludogorets, so they'd both be on six points with the others on zero, so it's a massive opportunity.
"I'm not quite sure that this Liverpool can hold out and counter, but they can almost get through tonight and that's the carrot, and Brendan Rodgers has picked a team that can go for it."
